Fluid Simulation - Stress Reliever ("the Extension," "we," "our," or "us") is a Chrome extension that provides an interactive fluid simulation and related product-update and welcome-message features.
This Privacy Policy describes the information the Extension processes, the Chrome permissions it uses, and how the Extension communicates with SideQuest services.
We designed the Extension to minimize data collection. The Extension does not require an account and does not intentionally transmit user-specific information to the SideQuest backend service described below.

This service is used to provide generic welcome messages and product-update information.
The Extension does not send user-specific personal information to this service.
Product updates are maintained on a SideQuest-controlled static HTML webpage at:
The /updates page contains a rolling product-update log organized by Extension version number. When new features are released, SideQuest may add information about those features to this update log so that the Extension can present current product information to users.
The Extension does not use this service to send users to arbitrary third-party websites. Product-update links and content are controlled by SideQuest.
The Extension may request Chrome permissions necessary to provide its functionality, including:
Storage — stores Extension settings and preferences locally in the Chrome browser profile.
Alarms — allows the Extension to schedule background checks or other Extension operations.
Tabs — allows the Extension to open the SideQuest-controlled product-update page when required by Extension functionality.
These permissions are used only for the purposes described above.
Extension settings and preferences are stored using Chrome Extension Storage and remain associated with the user's Chrome browser profile unless the Extension data is removed or cleared.
The SideQuest backend does not receive user-specific information from the Extension as part of this functionality.
SideQuest has opted into Google Analytics for Chrome Web Store listing analytics.
This Chrome Web Store analytics program is separate from analytics or telemetry embedded in the Extension itself. The Extension does not intentionally use Google Analytics code to track individual users inside the Extension.
The Extension does not intentionally collect or transmit analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or advertising data about individual users to SideQuest.
The Extension does not contain advertising or advertising networks.
The Extension does not sell, rent, or share user personal information with advertisers.
Because the Extension does not intentionally transmit user-specific information to the SideQuest backend, SideQuest does not receive personal information from the Extension for the purpose of advertising.
Information may be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Extension or SideQuest services.
The Extension does not intentionally use cookies to track users.
The Extension does not require an account, login, subscription, or payment to provide its functionality.
SideQuest uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information processed in connection with its services. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The Extension is not specifically directed toward children under 13.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to the Extension or its privacy practices. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date.
